We design and build architect-designed, hand-crafted small buildings and interior spaces for retreat, work, hospitality and unusual ideas.
Some projects fit a category. Some do not.
Our work spans small standalone buildings, crafted interiors and one-off commissions, but every project is shaped by the same principles: thoughtful design, careful making, strong character and a close response to site and use.
We are not interested in one-size-fits-all solutions. We are interested in making spaces that belong.
Not off the shelf.
We are not product suppliers, and we do not begin with standard pods, fixed kits or default layouts.
We begin with people, place and purpose. That might mean a sauna tucked into a landscape, a tasting room with a particular mood, a small retreat building in a remote setting, or a workspace that needs to feel calm and precise. Whatever the brief, the aim is to make something that feels inevitable in hindsight — as though it could only ever have been this.
